 have a 1.3i cooper '95,running like a pig. steady idle on start up(usually) but once a bit warm and comes to a stop it stalls or idles at bout 200 rpm. sometimes it revs off the clock of its own accord. if i turn off the ignition for a moment it resets and idles perfectly again. When i go to take off again it jumps and splutters (kangaroo petrol effect). have heard pops from engine bay, maybe from inlet manifold or trottle body not sure.have been told i have a faulty sensor but dont know which one.afriend had exact same issues with a vauxhall corsa and it was sensor trouble. am geting fed up of this and am thinking of getting rid of it unless i sort it soon pls help me someone.
