Painted/coated Ecu Cover?

has anyone done it? thinking of a bit of engine bay painting, would like to get some brackets etc done, but wondering if it's possible/wise to paint the ecu box

pics would be good

Wouldnt risk it pal, I polished the top of mine with some elbow grease and auto sol and it came out nice enough.

i wouldnt powdercoat it as im sure they put an electric current through it to get an even spread on the paint/powder, corect me if im wrong! and i personally would either polish it up or spray paint it

I had mine powder coated, but i dismantled it first. It's not too difficult you just have to be carefull.

Also remember to make sure the circuit board doesn't earth to the inside of the casing when you re-assemble. (I found out the hard way)

yeah, i was thinking of taking it to bits first! would be nice to get something on that side of the engine bay done!
just wanted to know if it was possible or not more than anything
