yeah
look at the hole that the ball pin fits into, it is tapered. with the large end of the hole at the top, the tie bar bolt hole will point to the front

if that makes any sense??

Also, the shaft that the damper unit fits onto should point towards the front.

In the Jammy book of names for things on a mini, yes, its the bottom arm, because it goes at the bottom of the damper!! :fear:

But these 'shafts' are also removable, so what then :fear: :cheese:

hmmm, so would that make the bottom arm (in the everyone-but-jammy-book-of-mini-related-technical terms), the under-the-bottom-arm-bottom-arm?? (in the Jammy book of names for things on a mini?)

No, the bottom arm (in the everyone-but-jammy-book-of-mini-related-technical terms), is the lower-than-bottom-arm (in the Jammy book of names for things on a mini) This makes the 'top arm' (in the everyone-but-jammy-book-of-mini-related-technical terms) into the steering-arm (in the Jammy book of names for things on a mini) (steering arm in the everyone-but-jammy-book-of-mini-related-technical terms), and the tie-rod (tie-rod in the everyone-but-jammy-book-of-mini-related-technical terms) is the side connecting big bolt (in the Jammy book of names for things on a mini).

So in short, you sit on the roof and drive with the window winder (or door handle to every person who's never been in a mini before).

All has become clear, thanks for that.

(by the way I still have those two A008's if you're interested?)
