where can I get the most reasonable radiator from?
I was thinking about getting an alloy rad but the realy do seem expensive.
I would like one that has a srew in sesor not the crappy bung one that is in there atm!

Alloy ones are really good, though Radtec is expensive. A few of my friends run the cheaper chinese ones off of ebay, which are just as good.
I'd say your best place to get a bargain is going to be ebay LINK because its cheaper than minisport.
Whats up with your old one? Whenever any have mine have gone wrong, I take it to my local radiator specialist (Heather Radiators) and he's never charged me more than £20 to repair any of my radiators.

Sorry the reason I want a new one is I would like the sensor in the bottom to be a screw in rather than the akward crappy bung that is a pain to get in and out!

Hi Frenchie,
I've just fitted an Australian/Chinese alloy rad and I am over the moon with it.
The welding is not the prettiest but it is under the bonnet so why worry. Mine came with a tapped hole at the bottom for the plug/switch you require and fitted so well and easily. All of the holes lined up etc and it took me around 2 hours to fit the hole thing. surprisingly effective and at £50 I can afford to buy several over the next few years.
I am sure that it will not compare to a quality Minispares unit but lots of us are on a tight budget, aren't we?
My advice is to hit the computer and trawl ebay for the alloy rad site.
Good luck
Minitman.
