Hi

This weekend I am planning to fit new carpet to my mini. I want to do a decent job so that it doesnt look shabby. Does anyone have any tutorial or guides on the best way of doing it? I am going to lay insulation underneath and the carpet I have is precut and has beaded edging.

I would be grateful if anyone could help

Thanks

If its all precut you should be fine on the fit

To realy help things take out the front seats
>
Undo the bottom bolt for the seatbelt on the inner sill and fit this bit of carpet first
then re fit the bolt

If you have them fit the bits that go over the seat cross member
>
Remove the two seat belt things that are bolted to the rear floor and fit the rear carpet
and re fit the seatbelt things
>
Next fit the front wheel arch bits followed by the bit that goes behind the heater (might have to remove heater  )
>
finaly fit the front carpet and replace seats

HTH
did mine in about an hour

I never used them just taped it down where needed

one thing i forgot when you fit the rear carpet also remove the long hook that stops the front seats fron tipping

fit the carpet and re-fit, this way it stops the carpet from moving
and looks neater
