hi all,

im very new to this area of things as been an mx5 owner for the pat few years doing mad things with that but i have now decided to come to the dark side and join you lot and not alone because i have in my garage a 2009 yamaha r1 engine and all electrics to tun the ket and go, along with a brand new quaife atb differencial ready to be put togeather in a lovely r1 mini.

so i need a mini!

idealy im looking to not spend to much on the mini, only realy need a rolling shell, but woud consider a working car. a tax exepmt modle would also be nice but again just want a nice shell so i can dive straight in and get it built.

so if you have anything cheap that will be ideal for my project please let me know

i lookforward to being part of a fantastic community and all the blood sweat laughs and tears ahead.

Welcome. I assume you are from the round the Coventry area somewhere seeming as though you've posted in the CV1 minis section?

Sounds like you have got a fair bit of an idea in where you project will be heading. What sort of conversion are you thinking in doing? FWD (promotive, LynxAE etc) or RWD (Z cars) or a home build of some sort?

You should have posted about a week ago....one of the lads from CV1 has just sold his mini!

r1minimagic i have replyed ot your pm

yep going to go for a md project as i already have all theb ike bits that i was going ot use on a race car project but think this could be fun

i was looking at the front mounted one but i think realistically it would be better off being in the rear, i might be able to use parts of the race car chassis iv alredy constructed to mount it.

but we shall see, i need a rolling shell first the i can do some designs
