Coilovers are the same height, rang gaz and they confirmed this a while ago, could be the brackets that are different though

nope sure that is the point of coilovers, you can get standard or shorted shockers but coilovers are all the same or so i believe!

But if they are lowered height does that mean that they are shortened? This would not mean that they could go any lower than a 'standard' height coilover it would only mean that when the spring is on full rebound its not bouncing loose in the coilover

Lowered would mean shorter when closed up (bump). You're right in thinking that the ride height is largely down to the spring - and how much of the coil over damper sticks out above & below it.

Spax list std & lowered coilovers: g893, g894, g895, g896

Larkspeed claim the difference in ride height is an inch.

Wen i had mine at the lowest they nocked off the bracketry and the ball joints were seriously angled, if you want it low there is a price to pay, i wouldnt get coilovers purley to deck it i would stick with hi los etc but coilovers are easier to set up and simpler set up and handling is awsum imo
