Got my renewel leter from footman james last week to be told "footman james does not currently have an insurer to cater for your needs" so they can no longer cover me when my insurance expires this month.
Now i wouldn't be suprised if i had loads of point or claims but i only have 3 points and 13 years no claims discount, my needs, motor trade insurance.
Nearly forgot i have been with them for 10 years, so much for being a valued customer.
Peter james total win, offering me the exact same policy i have with the same underwriter for a £39 increase, total premium £438 for the year, turns out peter james was started by the guy who started footman james, footman james is now owned by aon, and from a personal point of view their customer service is now dreadfull.
And on another point i have been told whilst calling round for quotes that you get a better quote over the phone than you do on the compare sites.
