time time make sure its in the right way, more time lots of bull dog clips more time more heat, more time, some heat some glue more time more glue more time more heat more glue, a craft knife done takes around 4-5 hours to do from experiance and the sportspack one is easiest to fit

Nothing as far as I'm aware, they are the same are they not ??

MK1's are easier as they are fitted to a frame and then put into the roof..

As minidaves says.... I spent at least a week the first time I did it with about 100 small bulldog clips and the use of gentle warmth from a hairdryer...

Patience and time are the keys, nothing worse than a badly fitted sagging headlining and strong glue !

Best not to use glue to fit headlining as it will stain through (bostick contact etc)
the choise of profesionals is "refix tape" made by 3Ms (it is sort of glue on a roll and is clear), i have never used bulldog clips  , but on one particularly awkward one i resorted to going and buying a big box of clothes pegs
I also use a small fan heater placed in the car as this heats the headlining allover rather than just one spot .
second hand are by far the easiest to fit as they are pre-shaped (if you can find a good one from a non-smokers car )
Smoking,..... YUK !! :P

sportspack/mpi head linings are made from a material (like moden cars) that is strechable easier than the orginal type of plastic one, if u fit a late one i would agree use tape rather than glue.
