Hello :-) How tall, is too tall for a mini driver?

I'm new to this site, and the Mini scene really. I grew up with mini's both my mum and my dad being into them. I've been toying with the idea buying one for a few years now on and off, and just wondering if it would be a practical car for me to own being as i'm 6.3?! The scene looks like really great fun, i'd love to do a made road trip to somewhere in europe with a whole load of people I think that would be really cool!!
And finally, in terms of buying a decent rot free car, what should I look for? How much should I spend? And what's a good car to buy which will retain a lot of it's value, should it not be my cup of tea after a couple of months of driving it to and from work?
Many thanks )
Adrian

a late cooper or limited edition will hold its value but it means paying more to start with so its swings and round-abouts to be honest .
i know people who've made profit on selling mini's.....it all depends on the right buyer at the right time. a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
welcome to tmf and have fun
have a search using the search facility at the top of the forum page and you should find lots of buying advise

I don't mind getting bounced around all over the place, that's what makes it fun, I love a bumpy ride lol!
Not too bothered about the money side of things, just not sure how much you are supposed to pay for one, and I wouldn't want to loose like a 1k say inside a year as it takes me ages to earn that lol!

depends on your budget mate sometimes people can strike lucky just spending a grand......depends if the seller is an enthusiast and if they know how much their car is worth. Thanks for the replys.

I must say what a breath of fresh air, I joined a forum last year for another well known marque and all I got was, really unhelpful, "do a search on the forum, its been posted before" etc etc.
Thanks peeps
