Hi guys - After drilling out the rivets that held on the previous arches and side skirt, I have been left with these nasty holes. Whats the best thing to fill them with? Also, will they pose a problem when it comes to fitting new arches?

Any tips would be great :)

I'm not that great at welding yet, might have to get my brother to help me sort that out then. Thanks Shifty!

Not that difficult to do, a few people use copper behind the area that they're welding to help bridge the gap.

Ah ok, I'll have a crack at a few along the bottom and see how I get on first. Cheers again :)

I'm new to welding and managed to weld mine up - its not bad to do at all. I build it up gradually, grind down, build up etc.....

Welding them up is the ideal but you can fill these type of holes if for some reason you can't/don't want to weld.

Obviously you don't want anything proud on the surface so you need to bridge the hole on the rear. Clean the surrounding area and then bond a bridging piece over the back of the hole with epoxy (I usually use a small piece of ally or similar). Then fill the ouer surface as you would with any other imperfection.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll have a crack at welding a few up and if I really struggle then I might consider filling them instead.

Cheers again :o
