Service it. Then give it a damn good clean inside, outside and under the bonnet. Not much can really be done to up value without buying bits.

12 months MOT is the biggest "value adder" you can make. Whilst you can sometimes add value by modifying and upgrading some parts, you are very unlikely to get back the cost of the parts in any increase in value. What's more "totally original" can often actually attract a higher price and any parts you have already added are probably worth more being sold separately. If you want to maximise the money you get back, I would remove the chrome arch covers (as they are not to everybody's taste any way) and sell them separately, and also remove the boot lining kit and sell that separately (as it could deter any knowledgeable buyer because of what it may be hiding underneath). Both are worth a bit of cash if sold separately, either here or on Ebay, but will not really add any value to the sale and could well put some buyers off.

You might also want to consider buying and re- fitting the original "Sidewalk" decals, in order to return it to nearer it's original spec.

mite be a bit bs but id make sure to underseal stuff so that if someone who nos what there looking at can see that you have tryed to prevent rust because imoa that would be the next best thing to 12 months mot as it would also stat on mot if it had rust and a solid mini is worth alot more

£1700-£1800.

Not much you can do, other than restore the car to standard. As at the moment, there is nothing special about the car really.

I wouldn't really recommend that! Fresh underseal is often viewed with suspicion, as it can be a sign of sellers trying to conceal filler, poor welding and all manner of other bodges underneath. It's far better to leave it as it is, so that any potential buyer can see what has been done and what needs to be done.
