failed its mot the other day and is all sorted apart from the stalk on the steering column doesnt work properly so if anyone has one they are willing to sell id be very gratefull

Hello, Welcome to TMF. Gp2 race arches will cover the 12x6 wheels you want. Good luck with it.

hey my brother has a set of 13 x 7 alley cats he said i could buy so im gonna have them! will i need to do any work to get the full turning circle and stop them from catching or will they be ok? also what sort of arches will i need?

Hey Jed,
You will definatley need to cut the front panel if you're planning to fit 13x7s. As for arches group 6s I think suit that size of wheel. Have a look through the arch directory in the styling section .

thanks very much for that i been looking around but still dont know my way around the forum very well! lol thanks for the link and i just had to spend £265 to get it through the mot so will be a couple of weeks at least before i can afford the wheels and arches

i have finallhy got 12months mot and 12 months tax and will be starting my driving on the 23rd of septmeber (my birthday) i also have a indicator stalk from a mk3 850cc mini if anyone is interested it does not work the problem is where the metal pins touch for the full beam to come on so if anyone is interested in it for spares or to fix it make me an offer im not looking for very much though.

yeah i thought that and insurance is just a con and i know a lot of people who put down their car as standard even when its modified as all insurance companies will try and get out of paying out the claim so thanks anyways

ha i just been under my car and have realised that i already have an rc40 exhaust fitted and must have been done by the guy before which has saved me abit of money! i hope to be getting my wheels soon and cant wait to start driving this month!

bought the alleycats finally! now just saving up for the arches! :| should get my insurance today and start driving this evening! i will have some dunlop d1's or p1's not really sure of the proper name but theyre up for sale please make me offers

Sounds Like you have big plans!
However if you cant afford to insure modifications, then don't have any, as its other drivers who pay the price if you need to claim
