Model: Mayfair
Year: 1984
Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):

My drivers side door lock is playing up slightly. When I go to lock it with the key, it turns to the right, and just before the end, it 'crunches' when completing the turn. The door locks but not correctly, as if you press teh button hard and a number of times, the door eventually opens. Any ideas?

I've taken the side of the lock off (accessible when you open the door) and WD40'd it and that seems to have helped a bit.

Thanks in advance ;D

I have a similar problem on mine, they are new and I forgot to put any oil or grease on them and the drivers side crunches when I unlock mine. so I would image that's why for you And me, unless something has broken, can't think what tho.

Could try some of that white spray grease stuff, could help.

If you take your door card off you'll get a better view of it with out having to unbolt anything.
