The car in question is a 92 sprite,

I am going to be changing the bottom arm rubbers on the front of my mini tomorrow and was wondering if anyone can give me a quick guide to doing this and any tips?

I will be replacing them with poly bushes, i will also be replacing all the ball joints and the tie rods for heavy duty items (non adjustable) at the same time.

Also another question i have that is related to the rear cones, is it essential to replace the knuckle joints when the rear cones are changed?

Many thanks

When I did my bottom arm bushes the metal in the bushes had bonded with corrosion to the lower arrm pin. Think I ended up heating and drilling the bush to seperate the arm from the pin and bought new lower arm pins because couldn't get the metal bit off.

Changing of the knuckle joints would depend on the condition of the existing ones, they're not that expensive

cool thanks for the advice, i take it to remove the bottom arm i will need to remove the tie bar and undo the bottom ball joint then undo the nut on the pivot pin and remove.
Is this right or am i missing something?

Many thanks for the reply

I did my lower arm bushes a few weeks ago one side came apart easy enough and all went well but the other side I ended up having to apply heat to burn the bushes out as the steel collar had corroded onto the pin (the same as lorry) If all comes apart easy it should take about 20-30mins per side
