i am soon going to be rebuilding the mini city e that i just got and was just seeing what people think are the best ways for holding panels iin place and the best places to get them. i have a few mould grips around and about but i am replacing the flitch panels and i wont be able to get them in the space to hold it in for welding so seeing what other ways i can hold the panels

i am making a start some time this week so would realy like to get a idea on how i should hold them in place for welding

How about magnets i picked up a decent welding magnet from my local tool station and works really well

depending on the panel you want to hold in place there are many things you can use, eg various size welding clamps, rivitts, screws, nuts and bolts, g clamps, magnets, mole grips. rope, blocks of wood with wedges. the list is endless.

thankyou for the replys has helped alot will get on and buy and few clamps and stuff and then will crack on with the job in hand. will try and post pics on my rebuild topic
