Hi, I've been thinking for a while about putting the running gear from a Mazda mx5 into a mini and was wondering if this is possible and if someone has done it before?

I've thought about this also but using the complete floor pan in an estate as its got the longer wheel base.

Theres a bloke on here that has done the rx7 running gear into a mini.
Also, ever thaught about doing it to a moggy minor
atleast u wont have to convert anything and its kind of a mini :L

Ive seen it done in Triumph Spitfires and Herald's but never in a mini.. as minidream said.. I've seen an Rx7 Mini
