I have tinted my rear side opening windows and they have come out brilliant. I remved the windows from the car and applied the tint on our coffee table. The result is great. However trying to do the rear window in place is proving very difficult without the film creasing etc. Would it be alot easier if I took the rear screen out and did it the same way as the side windows. The reason I am tinting is to keep our small children cool when we go on runs/shows. Any help would be great.

Hi mate, I tinted mine by carefully cutting about 4 or 5 thin strips , which were in line with the heater element lines. It took ages to do, but worth it in the end.

this might help?

Tinting the rear window will be 100% easier removed!

You will have trouble doing it in 'one piece' due to the curveof the window.

Your best bet wouldbe to do it in 3 strips, cutting the seams to hide behind the defroster lines.

To do it properly in one piece involves forming the film to the curve of the window.

Hope this helps.
