FUSE LOCATION

ok , my interior light & hazard warning lights have stopped working , i rekon it's a blown fuse but all 4 in the holder look ok , which inline fuse behind a air filter case will it be ?
my car is an h reg mayfair auto , thanks for any help in advance

aha , had a quick play with that fuse during my lunch break today , the fuse was ok but it seemed too tight to fit in the holder & make a good contact...
i will put in a new fuse or holder tommorow ! :cheese:

Sounds like someone's put a domestic fuse in there instead of a car one, not really acceptable. I think you'll need a 15 amp, unless it's an injection era car when it was dropped to 10 amps for some reason even though it does largely the same thing.

I had a similar problem - the standard 4-fuse box sits beneath the drivers side washer jet screwed to the bulkhead over sound deadening fireproof foam material, so any leaks to the washer can cause that area to become soaked bringing two problems - shorting out of fuses in the wet conditions and corrosion of the fuse box terminals.

I changed my fuse box to get around some of these probs, cost me six or seven quid for a new one and took less than 5 minutes to fit - not even enough time for the radio to lose it's memory.
