hi all,just thought id update whats going on with my mayfair auto,let us know what ya think ok,and any suggestions of course would be greatfully appreciated,engine bay next.

Looks good it's not often you see an auto engine all shinny. :D


Did you pull the alternator apart to paint it or just mask up the essentials?

masked it all up,took pulley off and blacked it,why dont autos get respect they should have.?

Don't worry about all the auto trash talk you might come across here on a search, some on here think autos are for disabled or lazy people but these are probably the same people that have never broadened there views in life......I drive two autos and two manual (non minis) and have borrowed/driven auto minis and I assure you I'm not disabled or lazy in any way shape or form. If its in a mini then thats all that counts :lol:

There is an auto forum if you do get stuck on anything, it was started up by a fellow TMF'er aswell

As for your engine, nice very nice, I like to see hard work pay off, theres a dam lot of work gone into that so kudos here :-

I had an auto mini once and wish I kept the engine! Would have been fun :lol:

Looks great! I loved my '72 auto, it was awesome fun - wish I still had it.
