Well i got back at 8pm last night and then went to work at 9.

Me and the missus camped the night, didnt really see much as i was knackered from driving and working through the night and not sleeping but driving haha

The day was great.

Saw all the minis from the forum stand there

Oh by the way Valarie has got to be the best looking clubvan estate there ;)

Plenty of stuff

Ears being ripped out by the jet car and messing my pants as the sierra cosworth and St engine mini went down the track several times

Oh and a bit of a downer, watching the police remove a guy and a whole drama about a mini van,

it came down to it that it only had stolen mini glass, the van wasnt actually stolen but shame about the glass hey, at least we know the police are hot on it basically

any stories?

P.S i love how no one spots me at minis shows when basically im the tallest guy walking around :P and ive told you what machine i drive ;P

I had a good day the weather was very good to us. It was my birthday on sunday and Mitp gave me a good present i come 2nd in the concours class D classic mini (modified) 1980-2001. Lots of nice mini to see and i liked the supra's on sat. I was so tired and i missed the monster truck because it was broken-down. Cnt wait for next year.

I had a bit of a late start on sunday morning, couldn't camp because of work on saturday. I was planning on getting up at 6, taking a slow breakfast and leaving around 7ish to take a steady drive down. Instead, my alarm didn't wake me up and I got a call off a mate who was camping at 7:45 asking me when I was getting there. I was in the car 10 minutes later, got there at 9:10 which was quite a good run down I thought.

After that though, I was really tired still so I didn't see much of the show, had a look at some of the club stand cars around our club stand and watched one of our club members on the strip a few times.

Not a bad show, but it would have been better if I was more awake. Didn't buy anything, nothing to buy for my Mini and the only temptation was a set of wind deflectors but they cost a lot for a couple of bits of plastic :(

We all had a great time. Met some really funny and nice people off here.

The show was amazing, the monster truck was awesome and the stunt driving was just incredible.

Thanks all.

Had a very good day. I live about 4 miles from the strip so didnt camp. Its nice for me to have a mini show on my doorstep. Plus i get to see (and hear on a good day from my house) the funny cars quite often. Building a mini at the moment mainly for the strip, but it will be road legal. Still deciding on engine, but will be rear wheel drive.

I had a good day aswell (apart from my 2 little brother playing up, but that was just mainly down to them being excited and tired at the same time) we left banbury at around 8.30 or so and got there for 9.30. Had a walk about for a while sat an watched the strip action :) stuart meads mini and that cossie mini made me have a little accident in my pants, 2 truely amazing cars there :D picked up a few bargains aswell (ultimate engine steady and some solid mounts for the subframe :D)

Was my first mitp for about 7-8 years and last time i was there it was at cornbury park :) and i loved it will defo be going again next year and i will be in my own mini this time :D

Unfortunately it’s not unheard of for minis/parts (or anything else for that matter) to be stolen and then sold on for personal or financial gain. So who knows maybe “just some glass” weren’t the only stolen items…
