Hi, selling my Mini Cooper Spi 1991/1992, it has MOT till January but no tax and is currently SORN, the reason being is that there is a problem with the fueling, the car starts first time every time and idles but as soon as you touch the accelerator the engine looses power and will eventually stall, ive done a lot of work on it trying to figure out whats wrong and i think its an electrical fault within the loom but i could be wrong, this issue could be an easy fix for someone but i just dont have the time or space for it anymore.

Ive had it for 2 and a half years and have done a lot of work on it and spent a lot of money on it aswell, i payed £700 to get it through the MOT due to rust, but thats all been sorted now.
The engine is spot on aswell apart from the fueling issue, most things have been renewed and uprated, the engine has a reconditioned gearbox from guesworks which cost me £300 and is spot on, has a isky followers and a MD274 Kent Cam, double valve springs,K+N Air Filter, i replaced the clutch and radiator when i bought the car, race type oil filter housing, engine steady, metro rocker cover, uprated HT leads, Uprated alternator, silicone hoses, LCB exhaust manifold into a straight through centre exit RC40 back box, all service items have recently been renewed such as oil filter, fuel filter, oil, coolant, spark plugs, dizzy cap, rotor arm etc. Basically almost everything in the engine has been renewed or uprated since ive had it.

The outside was resprayed when i first bought it and new decals were added but could do with touching up now, ive added 12x6 revolution alloys, all have tyres with a lot of tread and there is a spare revolution alloy in the boot with plenty of tread on the tyre. There is a wipac fog light at the rear and four wipac lights on the front, two are spot lights and two are fog lights, all four with black and white check covers. There is chrome windscreen wipers and a chrome aerial, black bumpers and a black grille. Also the horn is not standard, its a double chrome dixie horn with compressor located behind the front number plate so its hidden away. And a few extra stickers that can be easily removed. Also the rear of the mini has Hi-los fitted to bring the back end down level with the front end because minis normally sit high at the back when there standard.

The interior was recarpeted when i first bought it, ive added a centre console a dash board, rear parcel shelf and rear speaker board underneath the seats, all in the same red pvc leather material, it has 3 dials - oil pressure, voltmeter and clock, they are all TIM gauges. Ive also fitted the bigger type Mini cooper seats and they are so much more comfortable. It did have a sound system installed but ive taken that out to keep it so the next owner can install there own system.

All in all it is a lovely car thats had a lot of work done to it and its a great car to drive, the issue could be easily solved by someone who knows a lot about minis but i've had my fun with it and want to sell it on now. Viewing is more than welcome and im located in Houghton Regis - Bedfordshire. If i've missed anything out just ask and if theres anymore pics you would like i can easily email you more.

Im looking for £1200 ONO.

Thanks
Sam
