I have owned this lovely little car for just about 2 years now and have done a lot to it in this time.
Unfortunately the car has had a reshell at some point in its life to a later shell. But the bodywork is absolutely solid it was restored by the previous owner before i bought it and waxoiled at theis time. the car has been off of the road both winters since i purchased it to keep the salt at bay. There is no rust on this car whatsoever. Being picky there are a couple of cosmetic marks on the car and badly colour matched paint on a couple of cosmetic repairs but overall it is a beautiful car.
A quick run down of the spec.
Engine
1430cc rebuilt around 2000 miles ago
omega pistons
stroked balanced and nitrided crank
lightened s rods
med xtr camshaft
high capacity oil pump
med billet pushrods
piper alloy steel vernier duplex timing gear.
morspeed 36/30 sprint head with extensive port work and matched to large bore gasket.
This also has unleaded valve seats.
Titan full roller rockers
med ultralight verto flywheel and clutch assembly (which handles the power and torque perfectly)
reconditioned helical gearbox from guessworks all new synchros etc with xpin diff and a 3.44 final drive
This is held on with med's 5/16 fixing kit with copper gasket.
Minispares straight cut transfer gears.
fueling is taken care of by a brand new weber 45 dcoe on a minispares alloy manifold.
this is fed by a facet competition solid state pump and a filter king fuel pressure regulator.
The exhaust system is brand new maniflow large bore lcb with twin box 2" bore system.
recurved electronic ignition distributor and lucas sports coil.
Pretty much everything listed was fitted brand new at the last rebuild.
Pot joints were also replaced this year and driveshafts are minispares monte carlo shafts which were fitted new last year
Cooling is done by an alloy 2 core radiator through minispares silicone hosing in black.
Made 104.6 bhp at the fly and 95lbs/ft on slarks rollers.
Suspension and geometry
minispares adjustable lower arms with offset bushes
minispares heavy duty adjustable tie bars with minispares polybush kit.
minispares adjustable rear camber and tracking brackets
minispares red dot cones all round
genuine HiLo's front and rear
AGX evolution adjustable twin tube dampers front and rear.
the hubs and ball joints were also new last year
minispares solid front subframe mounts
rear subframe is mounted on polybushes.
Braking
Minispares alloy 4 pot callipers
minispares grooved 7.5" discs
ebc green stuff pads
rear drums are minifins (unsure if genuine)
it is running the late servo aswell.
I'm sure there's more i have forgotten but i would say the majority of the parts on the car have been replaced in the last 2 years with high quality parts.
The only thing i can think of that it needs is a new heater matrix (currently bypassed due to the leak). Also the geometry will probably need setting up again as i've had a play with it since putting different wheels on and taking the arches off.

it has changed a bit since then (I have the wheels and arches to go with it as i intended to put them back on)
I will put some pictures up later of how it stands now and everything.as the interior has changed a bit.
All in all it's a really well sorted tax exempt mini.
Tax and test till february.
