SOME MORE DETAIL from Danny (owner)
A little more detail on Mk1's that were stolen in the Billericay/Wickford area.
The Super 1964 - HMC 491B
A small welded repair to the inside n/s & centre of bonnet.
Mk3 boot lid (i.e. no number plate light (lower) pressing, but the mk3 style number plate light (above number plate) had been removed and welded up)
Paint to roof crazed and cracked in places, small bubbles in lower of both front doors.
Only new panel ever fitted is the rear valance to the best of my knowledge.
Cooper S GDY 398F - As photo's (albeit with new servo and new K&N clutch housing engine breather) ALSO will have some damage to steering column due to the fact the crook lock was found circa 50yrds from house with some of the mangled Les Leston Alloy/Wood wheel still attached, correct slim tulip boss may still be with the car.
