Can anyone advise me as to what to stick the badges down with when I get my new ones as I have had my front and back ones stolen last night. I would like to put live electric in it so it would shock them but I don't know how practical that is... ( just kidding) but yeah, what should I stick it down with?

wind screen adhesive wroks the best .. will have then there for a while .. but if you want them to never come off .. you could get 3m panel bond adhesive .. i glued my mini roof skin on with it .. its some serious stuff !!!

I know it sounds like a cop out, but when I had my badges stolen on my 6 month old Mini Thirty 20 odd years ago, when I put them back I made it easier for them to be taken as I did not want to have to deal again with the damage that they had caused by removing them first time round. The damage was more expensive than the badges. Having said that, the second lot were never taken. However, I can understand why you want to make it as difficult as possible – I felt like that but at the end of the day I went with what was going to be cheaper for me to repair/replace.

Some sort of contact adhesive works great.. As long as you follow the instructions on the casing :)

drill a hole in your bonnet, bond the badge to a grenade pin, might not make the front end of your mini look nice when it blows up but it would be a hell of a laugh to see some remains of some adidas tracksuit and trainers on the floor

I'm really sorry to hear you got your badges stolen. What scumbags.
Another option may be to make them detachable. My friend had MPi CooperS badges (the rare expensive ones with red centres that you could only get from JCG), and stuck velcro on both sides. Whenever he parked up, he simply took the badges with him! Well they never got nicked... and they stayed on fine even at high speed.

Sounds like a good idea. Seeing as you can get really strong velcro. I use some stuff to hold my carpet down so if need be i can remove it quickly and put it down neatly.

No more nails! It's the answer to everything ;) Though I do like the velcro idea...

This is very true, its likely if u make then harder /impossible to get off youll end up with a brick thru your window or car scratched to death, its a sad world we live in...

Just throught a decent alarrm with good proximinty sensors should deter this a little,
