I actually don't think I'll be able to keep this now. I have no idea of the value of it.. Is there a base price for any solid mini with 12months MOT? It isn't for sale yet, and the MOT will get done before it goes on sale.
Standard interior, black velour with red piping, logos part there, but worn.
56-57K miles..
It's matt black. Not even sure why I did this now but it does look pretty cool imo, but I understand the resale value will have dropped dramatically....... It's got 12" TC Cobra Supaslots with brand new (3 weeks) (165's) Yokohama's on that have never gone anywhere.
New pads, discs, shoes, brake and clutch master cylinder, braided hoses front and rear (not clutch),
LCB (no idea what make) and a minisports st400 exhaust with CAT (these aren't new, but haven't gone far as they were on my old mini for 4 months before it came off the road.
It's got a hif38 with alloy inlet, but somebody has cut the water pipes off for it to be heated..
New window/door/boot seals.
Drivers side A panel is bent in at the bottom slightly.
No roof lining (It's got 10mm acoustic foam cut to shape on the roof but this isn't covered), only other thing I can think of is that I don't have all the door furniture (It's got the door card and the door handle but not the pull handle in the centre, lock surround or window winder) for the passenger side door.
G max shocks, never been on the road but not really new any more..
New halogen headlights.
Fuse box is inside.
The car is solid.
Oh and these had sunroofs and no it doesn't leak.
It's not the best example, it's not shiny and new in every detail but it will certainly be very usable.
That's it except for it's had wearable things changed like ball joints and wheel bearings etc.
I'll try and get pics up soon, but is there any way I'm likely to regain my costs with it being matt black?

It's hard to say without seeing pictures, but assuming it's solid & with 12 months MOT then from your description, probably somewhere around £1,500 - £1,700 mark. Yes the Matt Black finish will certainly keep the value down, but it will also appeal to some buyers (a lot of the youth of today just lurrvve the "rat look" don't ya know??
)

And some dont mind a few holes to fully complete the rat look!! Again without photos im guessing 1600-1700 but if the paint jobs good quality you could be looking at a bit more as long as it passes that MOT XD

I think £1700 is a bit high for a matt black mini - hard to say without seeing pics though....
It's going to put of the majority of buyers and I'd be worrying about the horrors that'd been filled and painted over on the cheap.

To be honest I wasn't expecting half that..
I don't have any up to date pictures of it at the moment, and the finish isn't excellent. It's very poor really. I had to go over it with cans after having it done with a spray gun which looked awesome but just wasn't standing up to much, it marked too easily and I repainted over it with the cans rather than getting it re-done. I'm just glad that the valuations are still based more on the car than what colour it is...

I think you're right... don't think it's value is anywhere near £1700, more like £1200 on a good day.
Lots of things going against it...
Obviously the pain finish does not help, the 1275 is not the original power unit so will hamper insurance for the younger driver, why it's got a cat on I don't know
And without pictures, this is a a wild stab in the dark.... could be worse.
