Im not sure if this is something wrong with my settings or not but when Im looking looking through topics and then back out to the topic listing page ,why does it always return to the top topic.If im reading a thread that is say 2nd from the bottom of the page,when I go back I then have to scroll back down again to read the topic underneath.Is there something I can change or do I just have to live with it?Thanks

might help the computer nerds if you say what operating system you use and the program you use

works fine for me on windows7 and firefox

same here its a laptop which is running Windows 7

When you go back and it reverts to the top, make sure you wait until the page has finished loading. Quite often browsers wait until the page has finished loading before reverting you back to the place you were previously.

I always have the issue on eBay mainly.

I'm on XP and IE8 and it does it to me too. It's definitely not just a case of waiting for the page to complete loading and it is REALLY annoying.

I just keep the new content page open, and open any threads in a new tab
