Been after some for over 10 months myself. Very hard to come by, ive got 1 rim on its own never been fitted and thats it.

That set of cosmics have been on a few minis

I brought them off ebay about 7 years ago and fittied them on Pootle

Then I sold them to garry and he ran them on his clubby

I then swapped a rebuilt 45 on a 5" maniflow inlet and ran them on pootle again (but with a clubby front and a 2.0 vaux lump


And then I swapped them with Chris as part payment on a retrim

wow this is awesome thankyou for some more history! i have been slowly finding more and more stuff about my car this is good!
do you think i should repaint them? as they have pink behind the black which is strange ahaha
what do you paint wheels with??
do you do it with model paint?

A couple of them where red at some point in the distant past. I think we used smoothrite on them and then polished the spokes with wire wool.

If it were me, i'd just repolish the spokes as they'll contrast nicely with the satin black

i can only see vibrant pink beneath it! aha
so re polish with wire wool, and paint some smooth-rite on?
if so ill do this monday

Sorry about that post ^^ Didn't realise my mate was logged on...

Get hold of Bean. I sold a set to her a year or so back and she had 5 or 6 wheels on top of that. Doubt she'll sell any though, but it's worth a try!
