If you know what the original reg number or chassis number is then you should be able to send away for a new log book, mot and tax it and that's that.

If you don't know either of those numbers then it might be worth calling Whitby Morrison to ask is they have a record of their old conversions. You might find you'll be able to get the relevant info from them and then send away for the log book.

Like this Wildgoose campervan from BMW's Mini museum collection at Plant Oxford?

Yeah ive got the v5 etc, ive been in touch with whitby morrison & ive left messages with the secretary but never seem to hear any thing back, ive given up keep phoning them now.

Ive also tried to contact the very original owners of the van as it was owned by a fairly succesful italian family who owned ice cream parlours but the family sold there last ice cream parlour about 10 years ago and the only other member of the family ive managed to trace is now a barber an never had any thing to do with the families ice cream company.

Today we recieved a call from a member of the family who use to own the van. He has given up the hair dressing business and has bought back the familys original cafe which i believe is the Cafe Riviera in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. He is currently refurbing the cafe and is planning on reopening it in March & wants our icecream van there on the launch... So i guess we get cracking!!
