After a small accident at a show at the weekend I'm now considering making my bonnet removable as it fell and the stick got dragged across the top of my wing.
I remember seeing A video on YouTube where the bonnet was removable but didn't use pins and wasn't actually noticeable until he removed it he had some kind of clips on the hinges which allowed it to be removed quickly anyone any ideas what he used

Nope, sorry.
Just knew I'd seen them for sale on Minispares...
But I'm tempted now I look, as I'm forever hitting my head on my bonnet, so much that I just take it off the normal way, my concern and I guess your's too is how secure they are when driving at speed...

I Have had a removeable bonnet fitted on to my restoration project it lifts up the same as a normal bonnet but it is on two pins so once its up you just pull it towards you and it slides off will post a picture when i pick it up on saturday.
