Okay So I posted here a year ago but The forum has changed ALOT Since then and I cant seem to find my post so Ill ask again :P
Im on a budget of 200 or as close to that as possible and Id like to get the best system I can for my money.
Ok so what I would like to do is...
A sub and amp in the boot
2 speakers in the front with the dogbowl idea (what ruckus has done with his mini)
and a headunit + all the wiring bits and bobs and sound deadning.

Could someone Point me in the right direction for a shop to buy these or possible even show me which ones are best suited for what I need?

Thanks

Car Audio Direct would be your best bet! Brilliant guys!
Speakerwise, I cant really help much - but I used the silentcoat bulk pack sound deadening on my mini, and wow! What a difference, pictures of the stuff in my build thread!

For that sort of money it's might be best to look at second hand. £200 will not go far if you have to buy a headunit as well...

I would get a headunit and front speakers at this stage. Then save for a good 4 channel amp and sub later on.
You can run the speakers off the built in amp in the headunit to start with. Then add the rest when you have the money.

to power the two speakers up front, if you don't power them with an am the bass will drown all the other sound out.

I've got a pioneer P77mp up for grabs atm which will power a small sub from the rear speaker channels bridged apparently, might do you untill you can afford to get a decent 4 channel amp :)
Looking for £70 posted for it, really is a nice head unit :)

No it wouldn't I'm afraid, you will end up with an unbalanced system.
If you dial the sub back to match the tiny output of a headunit then there there is little point in even having a sub.

You've bought yourself a two channel amp, after being told to buy a four channel one... One only capable of peak 60 watt, when you've got peak 240 watt of speakers. Lets just hope you're not relying on that amp!

I've got a vibe slick a3 amp for sale for £60. 4 Channel, 100w RMS per channel or 2x100w RMS, plus 350w for a sub too. http://www.theminifo...0
