Hi all

I have a special tuning rover mini lamp pod, I need a way to secure it to my carbon fibre bonnet but I need it to be able to quickly remove it at service.

So can any one help me with what type of clips/springs to use!

Any help would be great

Cheers

Kevin

Hi mini93

Thanks for that, is there any chance you could post some pics of the setup you use? Especially the connectors you use to secure it to the bonnet.

Many thanks

Kevin

I did miss out the fact it was on a Fiesta R2, but the theorys the same :S id assume... connector wise for the fiesta theres a long tail on the loom to pod, theres sticky tip tie brackets on the bonnet underside so you fasten to wire upto that, upto what ever corner you have the connecter in, just any decent waterproof connecter will do i spose.
I havent got pics either as like i said, its a customers car, the demon tweeks link above should be all you need to connect the steady bars to the pod/body, the anchor nuts are quite self explanatory and we just use alloy bolts, countersunk washers and bolts because they look nice

You could try over on the Cooper Register forum, they have plenty of competition cars over there, and I know for a fact that the Chairman has a replica of L33 EJB with a lamp pod, they might be able to help you out.
