Just wondering how rare these are?
Went into a garage today and the owner had one sat there covered in dust and random crap.
When i asked him about it he said a customer never came back to collect it after having some work done. How would i go about getting it off him? obviously he wouldn't have any of the paperwork so i assume its a long process?

well, there arnt many of them about, but i wouldn't say they were as rare as a 1071 Austin cooper s:)

to get it from him it depends how long it has sat in his garage unclaimed for. i think its 10 years then the garage owner owns the vehicle and can do what he wants with it:P

Maybe ask the garage to apply for the V5 using V62 form below, if the previous owner does not respond to DVLA within a couple of weeks they will send a V5 in the new name and garage can dispose/sell on to you.
