One of these 100k signature things, got to be worth filling out a form for, even if its probably going to do nothing.
Also not sure why its 30 years instead of 25, but better then nothing.

Done it, now we only need another 60,000 to get it discussed in parliament!

Well if you add in the countless times this pointless petition has been through the forum already, there are more than enough names on it. Seriously, this is as pointless now as it has been the hundreds of times it's been done already.
Honestly, can't we write a subroutine into the board code that automatically rejects links to this thing? And fines anyone trying to post it?

My bad. Couldn't find the search button last night, forums changed around a bit recently and I've not been around much.

Ahh, but this is the new petition type, apparantly it now forces the government to discuss it if so many (100,000 I think) signatures are got for it, the laws only recently been introduced, so well worth signing it again even if you have done so before.

No it's been posted at least twice since the law was changed in December. It's not new. In any case, you realise that re-examining the rolling exemption is already on the books for this government right? It was a manifesto promise. It still won't happen, and if the EU's plan to harmonise the historic class across Europe goes ahead you may not want your car to be historic anyway. It will be more or less like listed building status.
