Hi Thank you for looking at my Volkswagen Golf Mk1 Convertible, 1991.

We have owned this golf since march 2005 and since then she has undergone £1000's & £1000's worth of restorartion to get her to how she is now, Few things was full bare metal strip and re-spray, brand new mohair Roof "Electronic" and completely restored to show room condition.

Exterior, She has full "ORIGINAL" bumper kit all color coded, being shown off by the BBS Alloy wheels that she has along with 4 brand new tyres, With the paint work being 99.9% perfect, i cant say 100% as she has been parked in the garage and may have the odd hair line scratch on her were she has been covered up. The brand new mohair roof is amazing we didnt change the orginal roof because it leaked we changed it because it seemed a shame to put an old looking roof back on this amazing looking car when she is all shiney. Now there is a tiny dint in the door that i dont know how it got there it must have been done in the garage, but i do not belive in filler, there is not one bit of filler on the golf i wouldnt have it, as i have nothing to hide and didnt want anything done on the "cheap". Hence why it cost A BOMB! but its worth it when you see what she is like!

Interior , She has cloth seats in her which are in immaculate condition, just like the gti seats "bucket seats", having also a cd player, and other switches etc for heaters and the electric roof, All 4 windows are manual wind down, and all fit into the seals of the retractible roof perfectly with NO LEAKS!!. Now honestly the only bit we Never did change was the interior carpets, it was just one of those things that we managed to over look and in all fairness forgot about, the carpets are clean and fine but the rest of her is concourse soo if you wanted 100% perfect then you could change the carpets
Engine , She has a 1.8L Petrol engine in her, Having covered a fully warrented and backed up by mot's from new of 71500 miles from new, i have searched far and wide to find another mk1 convertible in the condition like mine with under 125k on the clock! and to be honest i havent.

Now old scruffy ones with no mot and tax about 120k are fetching £600 - £999
Old scruffy ones with mot and tax are fetching 120k £1500 - £ 1750
Clean ones with about 150k are fetching £2000-£2500
Imaculate ones are just fetching silly money! £3k Plus!

So i have been looking how much they are worth and what they are valued at but i know im not going to get back anything near what i have spent, but the reason for the sale is due to the fact, she is sitting in the garage not geting used since 2006 she had 67k now she has 71k so she has done about 1000 miles a year... IF THAT!! she just sits in the garage and gets loved and run aroudn the block taken to mot & taxed and cleaned all the time the put back in the garage to keep her warm and safe but now i am moving houses soo we no longer will have a garage and i cant bring my self to leave her outside, so its time to let some one else have the chance to use her and just enjoy her! AND LOOK AFTER HER!!
