Hey everyone,

I'm on a quest for information and peoples opinions on Warsash and South Shields, because in January I'm going to start training to be an Engineering Officer and the college's I have got to choose from are situated in these two places. I want to know what the area's are like? as I'll be moving there. I don't know anybody who lives around there to ask.

I'm thinking Warsash, but this is only because it's closer to Cornwall, better place for surfing, lol, and maybe better roads for the mini :D Also what mini clubs are about?? As I'll know no-one it'd be nice to find some like minded people :)

Thankies for any help ;)

south shields is a kick in the bum away from newcastle and sunderland, all three have some fantastic night clubs and night life.
south shields has a very nice beach and fun fair, its clean and most of the housing is very good, has a market.

there is a few mini clubs local to that area, tynemouth mini club, northeast mini club, and a couple of others, there is a few mini shows, the geordie job and today at roker (next to south shields) there is a big show, mini mania.
just a couple of miles out of south shields there is loads of country roads, perfect for minis.
about 1 1/2 hours away is the lake district.
there is a few mini specialists (sp) in the area, green and whites, macs minis, and about 1 hour away is mini spares at harrowgate, not too far away is mini machine, fantastic for home made panels.

if you need any more reasons to move here just ask the localls, if you can understand them. (geordie accent)
