There does appear to be one downside though. Apparently there is no steering wheel support. Slightly disappointing for a modern driving game.
I can't wait to start playing this tonight. I might be busy for a few days now after work.
Oh and just as an aside, I had my PS3 at my sisters this last couple of weeks, and they have a 3D tv. I didn't think too much to GT5 in 3D, but you can play Black Ops in 3D. That's good, the weapon sits out from the screen and the shells from the spent rounds fly towards you. Really good.

However, I downloaded the demo on the PS3 and I have to say I think it was a bit pants. It's a far throw from the previous Driver games as I remember them. All this flashing and taking control over other vehicles. It's weird.

I was quite excited when I saw they were bringing out a new Driver title.

+1. I was hoping it was like the original two Drivers, wont be buying it after playing the demo.

Has anyone bought this yet? I am off back to Germany in a few minutes and I'm going to stop in Sainsburys on the way and see if I can pick up a copy. It looks awesome and the car list looks great. No BMWs though, which is a bit of a shame (I love the new 1 Series M Coupe) and no Minis (boo!) but still looks amazing. And even though its set in San Fran, not a Prius in sight!

Wouldn't it be cheaper for you to get it in Germany?
Certainly used to be.
I like the look of Driver but I still haven't got round to playing LA Noire yet.

That plus the move away from typical Driver games, it's ruined it for me.
I recommend anyone with a PS3 try it before they buy it!
