Has anyone bought this yet? I am off back to Germany in a few minutes and I'm going to stop in Sainsburys on the way and see if I can pick up a copy. It looks awesome and the car list looks great. No BMWs though, which is a bit of a shame (I love the new 1 Series M Coupe) and no Minis (boo!) but still looks amazing. And even though its set in San Fran, not a Prius in sight!

There does appear to be one downside though. Apparently there is no steering wheel support. Slightly disappointing for a modern driving game.

I can't wait to start playing this tonight. I might be busy for a few days now after work.

Oh and just as an aside, I had my PS3 at my sisters this last couple of weeks, and they have a 3D tv. I didn't think too much to GT5 in 3D, but you can play Black Ops in 3D. That's good, the weapon sits out from the screen and the shells from the spent rounds fly towards you. Really good.

Yeah the F1 game should be good. I have 2010 but never got round to playing it - I think I forgot I had it for ages. I'm not too fussed about the new FIFA. I'll probably get it, but I suck massively at football games. I mostly only play against my brother online anyway.I hear the next one is supposed to be even better than 11 though, so that might be his Xmas present sorted.

I saw an advert for Driver yesterday. Ive not played a driver game for years! I'll be picking up a copy I think, and I hope it's good, but they have a lot of ground to make up with it.

i really enjoyed F1 2010 especially after the update package codemasters put out, that sorted out a whole load of bugs. to be honest codemasters are really good, they had a thread on their forum where people could voice their opinions on the problems the game had.

but the actually done soemthing about it that made the game 10x's better.

oh and the new COD will be a must

I was quite excited when I saw they were bringing out a new Driver title.

However, I downloaded the demo on the PS3 and I have to say I think it was a bit pants. It's a far throw from the previous Driver games as I remember them. All this flashing and taking control over other vehicles. It's weird.

+1. I was hoping it was like the original two Drivers, wont be buying it after playing the demo.

Wouldn't it be cheaper for you to get it in Germany?

Certainly used to be.

I like the look of Driver but I still haven't got round to playing LA Noire yet.

I downloaded the demo a few hours after it was released, I've been really excited about this title since I first heard it was being released. The demo didnt let me down... Driver was the first game I ever had on my PS1 back in the day... and I've faithfully followed the series since. Parralel lines was an amazing game with a cracking soundtrack.

I love the new one, I've not stopped playing it. :)

Forza 4 and F1 2011 coming up :) Expensive month...

I found the handeling of the cars was a bit...I'll say a bit Need For Speed: Most Wanted. I loved driver because when I played it the cars felt quite real. They just feel dumb in the demo imo.

That plus the move away from typical Driver games, it's ruined it for me.

I recommend anyone with a PS3 try it before they buy it!

I got it on Friday for the Xbox and I really enjoy it! It's not the same as the classics and shifting to different cars is weird but so far I am enjoying it :)
