As the title says really, i have my driving test tomorrow and would like some last minute tips if there are any? I have looked over the questions they ask you at the beginning of the test and have been getting around 6 minors in each mock with my instructor but i do silly things like staying in the wrong lane for too long with makes me fail >_<

biggest thing is to just relax! and be friendly to the assessor aswell. just remember that its not the end of the world if you fail, its not like it goes on your record or anything. if your instructer is happy for you to take the test then they obviously think your good enough.

GOOD LUCK :D

Hi, I passed first time in march with 3 silly minors. Best thing is go in there positive stay calm. Have a good nights sleep. When you meet your assessor be friendly, shake hands indroduce yourself. Give a good impression that you are giving your all from the word go.

They will ask you to read a registration plate. Don't make a silly mistake here. Throughout your test stay calm. Keep your instructors words In your head. MIRROR, SIGNAL, MANOUVER!!

Do your best and good luck!!

Dan

P.s let us know how you get on

And with the mirror, signal, manoeuvre thing, make sure it's obvious you are checking the mirrors! Keep calm and pay attention, don't lapse in to a silly mistake. Good luck :)

another tip is to put your mirrors out a little bit so you HAVE to move your head to see perfectly. that way its obvious your using them

Always make the instructor feel as if you are in control of the car. No sudden, un-needed movements. Try not to let the nerves get to you and if they do, its only natural. Even if at some point you think you have failed, do not worry, and carry on with the test. So many people make a mistake, think, balls, ive failed, carry on with the test and then find out they havent at the end.

Good luck with it matey

Just keep calm and focused, if you do make a mistake, forget about it.

Try and drive smoothly but not slowly and good luck!

Most people that fail, fail due to nerves! Don’t feel intimated by the test instructor, see him as just a means to an end. Meaning I’ve just got to show this man/women I can drive the test instructor is not anyone special the test instructor is just doing a job and just another member of the public no more no less. Good luck!

Keep calm, and be nice to your assessor!
Handy tip: For your driving test, set your mirrors slightly wrong, so you have to move to see in them! Too many people fail through not being seen to check their mirrors, if you have to move to see in them, then your instructor will notice it more than you just taking a glance!
