Monty, those Lucas lamps are beautiful. I have a pair in the garage, although there are no where near good condition sadly. Two spots is indeed the classy look, even Rover had a go at it!

I love having front spots. They really suit a mini and, in addition to the standard halogens with brighter bulbs, they really light up the road well at night.

i think it has something to do with the fact your spots look like they could light a football pitch.


added the brightest bulbs you can get legally and 2 more lights

That's much better. Having the two massive ones so high up alone looked rather silly in my opinion; I only like 2 spot setup when they look like minimonty's. The space between them looks good :)

If I'm being honest, I think that they're too big. If you replaced them with another pair of the rally giant ones, then it would look better. However, people say mine are too big for the italian job look, so just go with what you're happy with. :D

no just an 80amp alternator , with a pug 306dturbo battery haha , i can see my volt gauge needle move when i put them on though
