Hi guys,
I'm currently in the process of making a mini only mod for rfactor, i've got the base model of the car and a race 998 and 1310 engine (courtesy of the historix mod) already set up. So what I'm after is dyno graphs for all sorts of different engines, they can be vtec, r1, standard a-series, anything that you have a dyno graph for so i can model the engine on so i can create a very versatile mod. Any additional information will be helpful to make the mod as realistic as possible. I'd appreciate as much information on the engine as possible, so when the mod is released (hopefully before rfactor 2 is released) users will have the option for choosing exactly what engine they want in the car.
I will be needing beta testers for these cars in the future, however the mod is nowhere near completion yet, so its very rough at the moment.
Thanks, Ben

Sounds Good! Love the Vtec and Minus mod on Gt Legends, spent 2 years before I was 17, learning how to hoon a Mini around the 'ring!

Lets hope it's easy to transfer the models over from Rfactor 1 to Rfactor 2 when it's released. I expect it will be...
I helped with the physics for a few of the cars in the Historix mod but it ended up taking too much time so I ended up mostly becoming a tester for the mod instead. I also worked on the models for the old A1GP mod.
Good days!

ohhh, craig maybe you can help out with this one? i'm more of a skin developer and beta tester, and this is the first mod i've worked on properly, so i could use some help, physics aren't my strong point, which is why i need as much info from people who have actually driven these cars to get them as realistic as possible.
And hopefully they will make it an easy swap, as there are so many good mods out there for rfactor

Rfactor doesnt have a lot left in it for community modding at the moment. Theres way too many very well established mods that this late into the game nobody will be interested in this. You'll eventually end up with hosting problems due to lack of downloads making the whole project a tad pointless!!
I'd certainly wait for Rfactor 2 before I started with a project like this again. The graphics are a whole new level from what I've seen so far. It'll take a LOT to convert even the highest poly count cars from Rfactor 1 to Rfactor 2 and have them look at home there.

I'd certainly be interested in the future. I'll be doing some 2012 stuff for Formula 1 2011 and getting a few championships off the ground on Forza 4's release before I'm able to dedicate myself though
