Just went to order a few things from Minispares, mk1 numberlight carrier, pair of hinges, light, gaskets for boot hinges..and rubber buffers for carrier ...(by mistake only ordered i buffer) went to checkout and postage was just over £6...No problem. Realised i had only ordered 1 buffer so went back and ordered the other went to checkout..postage had gone up to over £9!!! How can it go up by £3 for a half inch rubber buffer!!??...

get the order ready, then give them a call and ask them for alternative postage options
it could be the dimensions/weight has pushed it up a price bracket

i think MS delivery is always only an estimate upon checkout. when they send you your invoice they maybe update the postage.....although i've never checked really against when i ordered and invoices on differences.

When I order from Minispares I always ring the order through - usually arrives the next day, and postage is more accurate.

I agree what you say, but it makes me wonder how the online postage charges are worked out .... If just by adding a rubber bung adds another £3, it cant be by weight, cant be by size as the biggest item was the number plate carrier..is it the number of items???

I've never looked to see if theres a difference. My online basket said £9 for delivery, but I phoned my order through. Missed todays outbound deliveries, so I'll see thursday if it was cheaper over the phone!
