Hi,
I have some plastic Crome effect side trim that goes the length of the car along the arches and under the doors etc.
Well its not really attached very well and I just wanted to know what glue anyone would suggest to use? I always thought super glue was no good with water?
Thanks in advance
Charlie

They should self grip, but as an extra precaution I run a bead of clear silicon down the inside of the strip before fitting permanently.

Mine are held on with duct tape, rolled into a cylinder (Sticky side out), then pushed inside the trim, which is then pushed on the car

If it's plastic trim then try heating small sections of it with a hairdryer until it goes soft and pliable, then carefully pinch each section of the trim with pliers or molegrips and hold until it goes cold again. This should close up the gap in the trim a little and make it grip better at those points.
(Use a piece of rag between the pliers/molegrips and the trim though, to avoid making unsightly indents/plier marks in the trim)
