I have been selling universal weld in and bolt in seat bar kits for a number of years now and have recently done a bolt in set specific to the Mini for those who do not want to weld them in or modify my universal bolt in kit. They can only be fitted in a shell that has had the rear bins removed. Am looking at other designs for cars with the rear bins still in place. They use laser cut 3mm brackets with adjustable mounts to allow for different width seats. The tube is 1-inch CDS and they come painted in a hard wearing matt black finish. All fixings and spreader plates are supplied you just need to drill holes in the side of the tunnel and the sill to fit them. Will accept most styles of seats. Cost is 40.00 per set (one side) or 75.00 for a pair (2 sides) and will give free P&P to TMF members

Had another measure up today and think they will actually fit with the rear bins still in place, if anyone has a car that they would like to try these in then please drop me a PM to do a deal ;-)

Here is a picture of a set of bolt in bars in-situ, these are being used for a base mount seat so are a bit closer together than they would be if you were using a side mount seat. You can see how they bolt to the centre tunnel and the sill.

Just to confirm the seat bar kits come in pairs (2 per seat required), spreader plates to go under the floor and all mounting hardware so all you need to add is a car and a seat! I have been doing two types so far depending on what seats you are using, either side mount or base mount. I am also making them to order to your measurments to ensure that they fit in your car as I had one set go out and didnt fit as the buyer was using base mount seats. These were swapped to save him having to modify them. If you are interested drop me a PM and we can discuss the options further.
Cheers
