if your going for a classic policy for them, then no they dont, but you dont loose any no claims that you have, if you do have to make a claim with them!

I've heard that when your policy ends with FJ and you don't want to renew it, you can ask them for a document which states if you've had no claims for so many years, which other insurance companies accept as NCB.

Footman James are a specialist broker, so they provide all sorts of different policies from a variety of different insurers and with different terms and conditions. However the classic policies that many of us here insure their classic minis under, do not no attract no claims discount and nor is any existing no claims discount taken into account when calculating premiums either. If you have one of these policies with them, Footman James will provide you with with written confirmation of your claims history should you choose to go to a different insurer, but whether or not your new insurer will accept this as proof of no claims will depend on the individual insurer.
