Rover Mini 98 Mayfair Automatic Gear Box Oil? Where To Check And Load

I just got my first ever Mini got it from Japan, I am from Costa Rica, downloaded the service manual it seems like it uses the same engine OIL but no info about where to check automatic box oil level and where to load it and kind of oil.
PLEEEAAASEE help any idea?

hi

the gearbox is the sump of the engine, the engine oil level is the gearbox oil level

You'll find the dipstick to check the gearbox and engine oil on the left of the engine, usually below the coil. There's some good advice on checking the oil level (it's not that straightforward) and the grade of oil to use here: http://www.mra-minis...mini/automatic/
