[Miniature]

Hi guys,

I have been looking at the labelled pictures of under the bonnet in the Haynes Manual (pages 6 and 7) and was thinking how useful those pages are. Although neither of those pictures are exactly like my engine, and they dont always label the bits that I am interested in.

So I thought I would make my own version using a photo of under my bonnet, and make it a bit fun by letting people fill it in (also quite helpful for me). I have labelled some areas that I am interested in, and then a few other more obvious parts just for the fun.

The picture is below, I guess if you copy the numbers from below (or copy the last persons reply) and then add in answers which you know. Then the next person can copy those answers and add any extras answers that they know...etc...

Oh yes, should probably also mention that it is a 1994 1275cc Manual Mini Mayfair (might make it easier for you to answer, lol)

Isn't 14 the heater valve control? Or am I looking at the wrong thing?

14 looks like the return pipe that comes from the heater matrix

i think 14 could be a breather pipe

One's flow, one's return - I expect the one with the valve on (15) is the flow.

Wire colours would sort the relays, brown/red is the starter relay. 14 is breather hose from timing chain cover.

Vacuum advance looks a wee bit of a botch at the temperature valve, is there a line going to the carb?
