Hey All!
(first post so hope its in the right area?)

I think the piston rings are going on my 998 mini neon. Im having a compression test done next week but if it diagnoses the worse, i need a cheep place to replace them?!

Any Ideas of Cheap mini repairs leeds? and idea of what sort of costs im looking at?

You could try a place called Minifixit, located somewhere in Harehills. I've never personally used him, but a friend had a fair bit of work done there and spoke highly of him. Theres also a place called Bog Brothers somewhere in Cross Gates, but don't know too much about this place.

I'll be honest though, paying labour rates for an engine rebuild isn't going to be cheap! I've been known to take on a fair bit of work for people round this neck of the woods, but unfortuantely I'm flat out at the minute so not in a position to help in that respect.

Cheap repairs and a proper job don't usually go together. Take a look at other posts on theis Forum where a 'cheap job' has turned into a disaster.
You need an experienced and well-recommended mini engine specialist who will do a professional job

Try Princess Garage in Headingley - they are experienced with A-Series engines and are genuine classic car enthusiasts.
