Saw you guys at Bingley... so i thought i would pop on here and check things out!

Im Duncan, 18, from Essex...and i have had my little beast for about 6 months. and i had alot of ups and down during the resoration of it. which (sorry) but cant really be bothered to explain atthe present moment. i will get some pictures posted of the finished article in the near future so you can all have a nosey. but i wont show you whats under the bonnet as it is a piece of barry white...it is only a 998 but very shorty a 1275 will be put into her. then i will show you pics... hehe

but i though i would be a nice young chap say hello, and introduce myself

well as i said i had a lot of ups and down with the resoration. origionally i had some bloke who had the mini outside his work shop, needing alot of tlc. and he was going to restore it for me, to suit my needs. and well, after a deposit and buying some parts for it, i then found out after about 3-4 weeks later. he done a dissapearing act. along with my money and parts. it turned out this fella had mugged off lots of people and owed in the region of 20k plus to people including the farmer for rent of his unit. And the name of hells angels was brought up among the names of people who he has mugged off. he has it coming to him big time...

but i still had the mini within the unit where he was, and managed to retrieve it and eventually get the work done. so a longer process than i had hoped. so all in all i would say the project was about 6 months long.

geeeez thats a right essay there... sorry folks :nugget:

but i stuck but the lil thing, and and pleased with her now.
