Does anyone know what it actually does? I thought it sent the temperature reading to the dial in my dashboard, but I noticed today it was unplugged, and my temperature reading was working fine, just as normal.

I'm talking about the 2 wires that plug into the screw-in part at the front of the rad, at the bottom.

Cheers. Guy.

I think it's to turn the electric fan on if it gets too hot. I have only just got a SPI so it's a bit of an educated guess. I am sure someone will be able to correct me if I am wrong

Never actualy seen my fan run, the engine never gets hot enough. Though when I got the car one of the connectors had broken off the wire and there was several fuses blown :nugget: no to mention the shorted switches and almost an entirely fault injection system.

If anything, the switch makes a good drain point for flushing out the rad :cheese:
