Hi all,

Before i posted this i did some research to help me find out what i can but im still unsure whether it is a 'LE'

i bought a mini with this on the logbook and though nothing of it but its not standard i am thinking of taking it back to standard and i thought id look at what colours standard are.

http://en.wikipedia....imited_editions

basically i found out that the Racing green, Flame red and the checkmate are all the same apart from colour so from the wiki link above i found some info.

need of help to confirm.

Thanks

It is an LE, you can find the brochures here:
http://www.roblightb...1990_racing.htm

I think rover produced around 2000 mini racing including racing green, flame red and checkmate.

Also there are two versions...

The Flame and Racing were first produced as an LE in 1989, pre dating the mini 30 and then after the mini 30, re-launched with the addition of the checkmate in 1990, the specifications of each release are different.
